God’s Powerful Presence

[et_pb_section bb_built=”1″][et_pb_row][et_pb_column type=”4_4″][et_pb_text _builder_version=”3.5.1″]

Every once in a while, I feel like God is nudging my heart to understand more deeply His truth for my life.  If I could put it to words, as if He was actually speaking to me, it would sound something like this:

I love you child, so much more so than you are acknowledging right now.  There will always be naysayers, people who don’t perceive My will and what I’m trying to do in your life.  You will not be perfect.  You will not be unstoppable.  You will have moments of struggle and moments of triumph, just like the rest.  But here is the key difference: you have Me.  I am the Master of the Universe, the Great I Am, and I am by your side, kneeling down next you in this moment, lovingly calling you to more.  I am not mad at you.  I’m not disappointed, even.  Instead, I wait here patiently and lovingly for you to look up and acknowledge Me, for I am right beside you, waiting to take your hand into Mine.

To reflect on …

“Look here.  I have made you a part of Me, written you on the palms of My hands.  Your walls are always on My mind, always My concern” (Isaiah 49:16).

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace.  In this world you will have trouble. But take heart!  I have overcome the world” (John 16:33).

For Further Thought:  When you don’t sense God’s presence in your life, or when you are allowing the world to define your worth and value, remember God is always by your side.  He will use every struggle, every tear and every moment of peace and joy to mold you into the wondrous person He has destined you to be.
