That same God—the One who faithfully wrote the story of salvation—is writing your story, too.

Advent tells a different story: Love entered the imperfect and chose to come close.

Joy isn’t found in the absence of suffering, but in remembering who Jesus is and what He has done for us.

So how do I find peace in Jesus during the waiting? Or the hardship? Or the challenging life situations, for that matter?

We don’t always get clarity on the road ahead. But God invites us to trust that the unknown path may be the most meaningful part of the journey.

Faith allows me to know that even though I’m often caught unaware by my life circumstances, God never is.  He’s already planned how to work through them for my good (Romans 8:28).  It’s hope of God moving in all things that allows me to move forward with joy and freedom, tackling my issues with faith instead of being dominated by them.

If you’ve ever lain awake worrying about your grown child, wondering where you went wrong, you’re not alone. Many parents struggle silently when you can’t fix your adult child’s pain, no matter how much you long to help. We all carry unspoken dreams for our children. We imagine them steady, happy, and purposeful. But when life circumstances interrupt that vision (such as depression, addiction, distance, or pain), it can shake us to the core.

Even at night when my thoughts trouble me, I will bless the Lord… but learning to release control was not as easy as I wanted it to be.

Even the most ordinary day becomes holy ground when we remember Who walks through it with us.

When we encounter division and hatred, our response should reflect the heart of Christ—standing for justice while still showing love, pursuing truth while extending grace.

Our life is but a vapor, but it will have true meaning when we look to Jesus for everything.

You are my Calm amidst the storm, and I know You will never forsake me—not now, not tomorrow, not ever.

When you feel like you’re not enough, remember: your worth isn’t defined by rejection or circumstances. True strength and peace come from anchoring your identity in Christ’s unshakable love.

Tired of carrying it all on your own? God is near, ready to help shoulder the weight and bring peace where you need it most.

What I thought would be the adventure of a lifetime became a mirror of the shame I had carried for decades.

If we wait for everything to be convenient and easy, we may never go—sometimes God calls us to step forward when it doesn’t feel like the right time.

When fear and comparison creep in, what if the answer isn’t control—but trust? Pray, then act. God is always trustworthy.

Despite my running away, God continued to offer comfort, guidance, and reassurance that our suffering would not be in vain.

Joy dwells deep within me and is not dependent upon circumstances happening around me.
